Food looks better in slow motion.

There's no denying that food looks better when it's presented in slow motion. Whether it's beer pouring into a glass or popcorn in a pan, slowing the action down makes the product more desirable.

Sizzle. Splash. Crack. Bubble.

Taste and smell can't be conveyed by an image.  You have to slow down the action and encourage the viewer to experience the texture of the shot in their own mind.
